José Miguel García buys €200,000 worth of shares in the Euskaltel Group

Bilbao, 7 November 2019. The Euskaltel Group's CEO, José Miguel García, has bought 23,810 shares (Euros 8.40 per share) in the company worth Euros 200,000, demonstrating his commitment to and confidence in the future of the company's business, as well as his personal connection to and empathy for the company. Following this purchase, of which the CNMV has been notified, José Miguel García's total share equals 0.013% of the company's share capital.

Last week, the Euskaltel Group ?comprising the Euskaltel, R and Telecable brands- posted its Q3 results, showing net profit of Euros 19 million for the period, up 7.4% on the same period last year.

The data show a rise in the number of customers and in profitability, confirming the upturn in the trend noted in the previous quarter, with a 2.8% increase in EIBTDA and an 8.1% rise in cash flow, as well as an increase in high-value private and corporate Broadband, Pay TV and Mobile phone customers.

The figures for the third quarter of 2019, which is the first full quarter following the implementation of the company?s new roadmap proposed by the Group?s CEO, José Miguel García, confirm the good results achieved thanks to the measures implemented and efficient management.
