The Euskaltel Group is one of Spain's main telecommunications companies providing a comprehensive response to the communication needs of individuals, institutions and companies. Its brands, Euskaltel in the Basque Country, R in Galicia and Telecable in Asturias, have been operating on the market for over 25 years and are leaders in fibre optic and convergent telecommunications services in their respective regions, maintaining strong local involvement through technological, cultural and social development activities.

Furthermore, recently the Group has launched its expansion strategy through the Virgin telco brand to reach the entire Spanish market and offer high-speed broadband, mobile telecommunications with ample data allowances and a solid TV offering to 20 million homes.

The company provides ICT solutions to cover its residential and business customers' full communication cycle with a wide range of technological services including Internet, fixed-line and mobile phones, digital TV and broadband, digital transformation processes, IoT (the Internet of Things) solutions, Big Data, Artifical Intelligence, technology for Smart Cities and Industry 4.0.

The Group has recently signed an agreement with Orange allowing acces to 5G technology as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator hosted on the Orange network from 1 January 2022. This agreement guarantees its customers access to the most advanced mobile telecommunications services via a quality 5G network, and secures the necessary capacity to respond to all new mobile data service needs that users might have in the future.
